The event gave families, community leaders and young people a space to discuss responsibility, mutual respect and the role of values in integration. A particular focus was placed on younger generations, with news eu settlement scheme Sri Lankan community leaders encouraging youth participation so that young people could become familiar with ethical principles that may guide future choices.

Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to the European Union, the OSCE, the Council of Europe and the United Nations, said such initiatives show how shared values can build trust across cultures. The Milan event formed part of wider Scientology-supported efforts in Europe to encourage education, prevention, ethical values and community betterment.
